Inviting teammates to your shared inbox

Add unlimited agents to your shared inbox, set their roles, and start collaborating with internal notes and mentions in minutes.

HelpBird is built around a shared inbox, so your whole team works from one place. Every plan includes unlimited agents at no extra cost, so you never pay per seat.

Send an invite

  1. Go to Settings > Teammates.
  2. Click Invite teammate.
  3. Enter the person's email address.
  4. Choose a role and click Send invite.

Your teammate receives an email with a link to set a password and join the workspace. Invites stay pending until accepted, and you can resend or revoke them from the same screen.

Roles

Admin (owner)

Full access to billing, installation, automations, business hours, and every workspace setting.

Teammate

A teammate handles day-to-day support: replying to conversations, moderation, and notifications. They do not have access to billing or owner-level settings, so you can add support staff without exposing your account configuration.

Working together

  • Internal notes let you discuss a ticket privately. The customer never sees notes.
  • @mentions pull a specific teammate into a conversation and notify them.
  • Assignment hands a conversation to one owner so nothing is answered twice.

Encourage teammates to enable desktop notifications and connect Slack so new messages and mentions reach them quickly.
